About Andhra Dosa Co.

Mumbai's home for real Coastal Andhra flavours

Andhra Dosa Co. is a specialty South Indian restaurant in Marol, Mumbai, dedicated to the food of Coastal Andhra — the region around Vijayawada, Krishna, Guntur and Rayalaseema where dosas are crisp, sambar carries drumstick on the bone, and chutneys bite with ginger and karam podi. We are part of the House of Foodys, bringing Andhra recipes that travelled across India into a neighbourhood restaurant you can reach by metro at Western Expressway Metro Station.

Most tiffin rooms in Mumbai serve excellent Tamil or Karnataka-style dosas — mild, familiar, comforting. Andhra Dosa Co. exists for guests who want something sharper: pesarattu made from green moong soaked overnight and ground on stone without rice filler; ghee karam masala dosa with Rayalaseema heat; bigger idlis that arrive fluffy and generous; and drumstick sambar slow-cooked the way Andhra mothers make it at home. Every batch of batter follows the same discipline — soak, grind, ferment, spread on cast iron. No shortcuts, no frozen shortcuts, no compromise on spice balance.

Our Marol kitchen opens at 7 AM for office-goers who want a proper breakfast before the Western Express Highway traffic builds. By lunch, plates of lemon rice, tamarind rice, sambhar rice and curd rice move quickly. Evenings belong to dosas — benne podi, ghee ravva, mysore masala, paneer-stuffed varieties — paired with coconut chutney, tomato chutney and allam pachadi. Whether you dine in, pick up takeaway, or order through Swiggy and Zomato, you get the same recipes our chefs prepare for guests at the counter.
